How to make a link to VK on Instagram, it is useful to know for active users of both services. Linking one account to another allows you to automatically import photos to social network pages and save time on publishing. We tell you where to find the profile location on Instagram, how to add it to your VKontakte account and share pictures with subscribers without unnecessary actions.

How to make a link to Instagram VK

Unlike Instagram, VKontakte allows you to publish active hyperlinks (HS) to a third-party service in the profile description and posts. Import is located in the settings:

• In the browser, click on the name of the account owner in the upper right corner;
• in the drop-down list, find “Edit”;
• go to the “Contacts” tab;
• click on “Configure Import” on the Instagram icon;
• Log in to your account and allow the service to perform the described actions on the page;
• Decide how and where the photos will be imported – automatically to the album or to the wall, manually using the hashtag;

• Complete the changes with the Save button..

When linking the account to the description via the browser, copying and writing the link manually is not necessary. The social network will determine the username after entering the account. But before you add a link to Instagram VKontakte from your phone, you will have to save the address in the clipboard. To do this, go to the profile from another account, in the upper right corner find 3 points. Tap on the icon, and in the drop-down list – “Copy URL”, Copy Profile URL. There is no other account – register the site manually in the format https://www.instagram.com/username.

From iphone

To add from iPhone:

• open the official contact application;
• log in with your account;
• click on the bottom line with section icons in three horizontal stripes;
• click on the profile picture or “Open profile”;
• under the photo, find “Edit”;
• among the page settings, select “Contacts”;
• place the address in the “Personal site” field.

After saving the changes, the information will be displayed in the questionnaire as an active HS. Importing photos will not work – you can configure the function only through the full version for the browser.

From Android

For users of devices running Android, the instructions are identical:

• launch the VK application from your phone;
• Log in to the social network under the account to which you plan to link Instagram;
• in the lower right corner, click on the icon of the three horizontal bars leading to the menu sections;
• under the name tap on “Open”, Open Profile or a photo nearby;
• under the avatar go to “Edit”;
• move to the “Contacts” section in the page settings;
• specify “Instu” in the “Personal site” field and save the changes.

If you want everyone to see the address, go additionally to the settings. In the “Privacy” section, find the option “Who sees the basic information of my page” and change the circle of allowed persons.

On the wall

You can send publications from Instagram to the VK wall in 3 ways.

1. Automatically. To configure the import, open https://vk.com through a browser and log in to your account. In the upper right corner, click on the name of the owner, and in the list that appears – “Edit”. Go to the “Contacts” section and start the import setting opposite the camera icon. Log in to Instagram in the window, allow the service to publish pictures on the wall and save the changes. The application will automatically send a photo to VK after publication.
2. Semi-automatic. Launch Instagram. Click on the person icon or photo in the lower corner. Select the picture you want to copy to VK. Tap on the three dots at the top right and the “Share” line. Under the indicated services, click on “Send to other applications” or Share link with other apps, find “VK”. Choose between “In a message” or “On a wall” and confirm.
3. Manually. Go to the application with photos. Open the profile, select the picture you plan to give to friends. Click on the 3 dots at the top and tap on “Copy URL”. Go to “VKontakte”, open the field to create a new record and specify a link. The photo from the phone will not automatically attach, add it yourself.

In the post

Add to existing posts on personal pages or in groups manually. To do this, click on the checkmark in the upper right corner of the publication and select “Edit”. Write the address or paste from the clipboard and save the changes.

How to make a beautiful link

• Log in to your Instagram account;
• click “Edit” under the number of subscriptions and subscribers;

write the GS on VK in the form of Website and save the changes.
